About Us

CBW is a family-run Welsh business, led by father and son Carl and Morgan Burgess.

Our journey began in 2022 with Carpet Binding Wales, providing professional carpet binding, whipping and edging services. What started as a small family business has continued to grow and develop, leading to the creation of CBW Flooring Supplies.

Carl Burgess – Director

Carl brings over 40 years of experience in the flooring industry. 

He started his career as a carpet fitter before progressing through the industry as a sales adviser, store manager and sales representative.

Having worked on both the fitting and sales sides of the industry, Carl understands what flooring professionals need from their suppliers — quality products, competitive prices, knowledgeable advice and, above all, reliable service.

Morgan Burgess – Sales Director  

Morgan works alongside Carl and represents the next generation of the Burgess family business.

He plays an important role in developing CBW Flooring Supplies, building relationships with flooring retailers and fitters and helping grow the CBW name throughout Wales..  

Since starting Carpet Binding Wales in 2022, we have come a long way.

Today, we operate from our 8,000 sq ft premises in Caerphilly, with CBW Flooring Supplies stocking an extensive and continually growing range of flooring accessories for the trade. 

From underlay, gripper and adhesives to screeds, door bars, flooring tools and accessories, we're committed to giving the flooring trade a strong independent choice.

We are proud of what we have achieved since 2022, but this is only the beginning.

Our ambition is to continue growing CBW while maintaining the personal, knowledgeable service that has been at the heart of the business from day one.
